- Operators 31 and 82 are monitoring traffic
on the western backbone of the Information Superhighway.
The morning has been routine, uneventful -
another ordinary day. Operator 31 stands at the master
console. Operator 82 makes rounds, adjusting and
optimizing data throughput on several displays. The
workplace drones with the sounds of fans and spinning
hard drives. Soon strange events begin to occur...
